About Us

What started off as a regular conversation between two dads turned into something truly meaningful. We spoke about the experiences raising kids - including their ability to connect with classmates that don’t look like them, and how to explain why George Floyd was murdered by the police. That day, we decided we had the right mix of passion, skills, and will to make a difference in tackling racism and injustice. We started Visible Majority to add our support to the social justice movement. From this, we began to sell apparel to raise awareness around visibility and representation.

Mission

Our mission is to annex the term "Visible Minority" as we believe this term is false, dehumanizing and does not reflect the diverse Canada that exists today. Instead we aim to affectively use the term "Visible Majority" as a catalyst for social change.

Vision

  • To amplify the people and their stories of understanding, empathy and kindness, and friendship

  • To empower voices standing against systemic racism and all forms of oppression

  • To promote diversity, advance equity and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging in our communities

  • To leverage apparel,  specifically the VM logo, as a visual representation of ones commitment to anti-racism
